One of the most confusing things about the wild west (to me) is how law and order operated. A county elected a sheriff, as one form of law, but they also might have a town marshal. Then there were also US Marshals (it all gets very complicated. Anyway, whoever is in charge needs base of operations so Persistence has a Marshal and he has an office. Years ago the Sheriff's office was the first model I made for Angel Creek. This time round the Marshal's office was the first model made for Persistence
The Marshal's office is a simple, one storey building. The back part is more solid being made of brick, and this houses the jail cell. You can also see the fenced back yard with a privy tucked round the back. The office will eventually get furnished. It needs a desk, chair, potbellied stove and a gun rack.
